Professional Practices (2023)

My RA Project was actually heavily inspired by this image I took from this installation in Tate Modern. The funky shapes of the rocks would create a nice background for the poster designs, basically creating a simple design with shapes. But then I thought of designs that merged shapes with lines and started sketching other ideas. I also created a mood board or reference board  with the relevant designs that came to mind when I thought of shapes.

I went somewhere on this day on the 4/11/2023, I think it was Tate Modern. After walking the whole place in hopes of getting a better understanding of art, I found myself captivated by the children's books in the gift shop. I mean just look at them, they are cute and colorful with intriguing book titles, I mean what's there not to like? The covers are eye-catching and they all just seem so interesting, they rae just too adorable. And then there were these pieces that I found slightly more interesting than others. You might even spot the piece that inspired the design for my RA Project.
