Day 1 of Blogging

First day of blogging! It is officially my second week in the UK and starting tomorrow will be my third week. I gave myself a few weeks before starting any work and I'm glad I did cause the first week was spent grocery shopping and getting used to my living space while the second week was spent getting sick. Many things happened but to sum it up, I have no access to any of my classes on Canvas and the Medical Centre won't take me in since I'm not fully registered so I learnt that systems suck wherever I am.

Thus ends my first day of blogging just to show the shittiness of my situation and hopefully all will be better on the next blog.

So I tried to make my intro's transition match with this vibe.

Final Day

Today's my birthday and I have officially completed my assignments as well so I'm feeling good. I showed Dean my showreel for the last time and there was an issue with the timing of my artwork and the song in the promotional section of my showreel so I fixed it up in class and got the approval from Dean that my showreel was all good. I also converted all my Microsoft word documents to artworks in Illustrator so PROGRESS! Now all that's left is to fill my spreadsheet and I'll be done!

Winter Wonderland

Image
I went to winter wonderland on this day. It's my first amusement park in a long time. I went with a couple friends and it was really fun but expensive. I rode on a rollercoaster, bumper car and pendulum ride for the first time. It was amazing and I am glad I got the opportunity to go, but no matter what I still can't get over the prices. Everything was so expensive! Like how?? The pizza was like £10 and yet it looked so disgusting, I couldn't bring myself to buy any of the food even though I really wanted to eat them. Instead, I went food window shopping, staring at each stall and the food they serve while mentally calculating the conversion rate and figuring out how many meals one amusement park snack could get me back home.  My friend and I wanted to eat churros so we went all over the park and compared the prices until we found the cheapest and most worth it option. While exploring we saw a bunch of people carrying the cutest animal plushies and we wanted to try playing ...
